Komodo National Park is one of the world's most extraordinary natural destinations — a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising three main islands (Komodo, Rinca, and Padar) and numerous smaller islands in the Lesser Sunda Islands of eastern Indonesia. The park is home to the Komodo dragon — the world's largest living lizard, up to 3 metres long and 70kg — and some of the world's richest marine biodiversity. The pink sand beach on Komodo Island is one of only seven pink sand beaches in the world. The diving and snorkelling in the park — with manta rays, whale sharks, sea turtles, and extraordinary coral reefs — is among the finest in the world.

Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali — a town in the central highlands surrounded by extraordinary rice terraces, ancient temples, and the most vibrant arts scene in Southeast Asia. The Tegalalang Rice Terraces — a UNESCO-listed landscape of stepped rice paddies carved into the hillside — are among the most photographed landscapes in Asia. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary has three ancient Hindu temples and hundreds of long-tailed macaques. The Ubud Palace hosts traditional Kecak and Legong dance performances every evening. And the restaurants of Ubud — from traditional warungs to world-class fine dining — make it one of the best places to eat in Asia.
